Established in 2007, Catnip is a boutique boarding resort on a beautiful acreage at Old Beach, Hobart, dedicated to offering the finest accommodation, care and pampering for your special companion.

 

As a small, family-run cattery, we are able to give guests the personalised service and attention they enjoy at home.

The first thing you notice when you visit our temperature-controlled, custom-built facility, is that it doesn’t “smell like a cattery”. That’s because we maintain impeccable standards of hygiene.

All suites have been designed to incorporate the comforts cats crave. Windows to enjoy the peaceful rural surrounds, natural sunlight beaming down on their high ledge, nooks and crannies, clawing posts, luxury bedding, cat toys and more. An outdoor cat run and fun-time playroom add variety to their day. Pampering is guaranteed, and we serve only premium food.
